GameOperator Applications - Open

Interested in working for Wildguns.co.uk ?


Have you ever considered offering your free time in giving support to the players of an MMOG? Have you ever wanted to work with a young and dynamic team of individuals in providing technical support to thousands of users?


If the answer is yes to either of the above then you should consider the points below and apply for the role of GameOperator (if applications are open).

What does a Game Operator do?
  • GOs look after Servers to which they are assigned.
  • GOs are responsible to apply Game Rules and ban accounts, to help users with in game related problems and anything else that involves their Servers.
  • GOs offer honest and impartial help and support to all users of the game.
  • GOs are always friendly and approachable, working as part of a team to resolve any problems.




What are the requirements to be accepted into the team?

  • Being over 18 years old due to legal issues.
  • Having a considerable amount of time to offer to the job (At least a daily average of two hours).
  • Accepting positive feedback and criticism from other members of the team, while being able to successfully being part of it.
  • Having a helpful and easy going personality.
  • Enough game and rules experience to be able to actually help players.
  • A minimum amount of time being spent on IRC after being hired.
  • Being able to enjoy team work and some fun!




What should you include in your application?
(Minimum of 200 words)

  • Some personal details.
  • Board account nickname.
  • Wildguns servers that you have played and are currently playing.
  • If you were banned in the past on boards or in-game, what for.
  • The way you can fulfil the requirements above.
  • Briefly some real life work and studying experience.
  • Why we should hire you.
  • What actually motivates you to apply.
  • Wildguns experience at Wildguns.co.uk as well as other communities.
  • Experience in other Games and Communities.
